Christmas Cards

Today after church we decided to try and take Christmas pics (next to the backyard fence) to mail out.
We saved the final pick as a surprise.

Sid was the only one worth looking at in this shot.

Zombie Killers

Dad forgot to let us know it was time... Rosco was ready.

Who knows what happened here?

The camera is THAT way

Steelhead for Thanksgiving

This is what my giddy husband brought home to me. He is thankful for his eight pound Steelhead. It was very cute. Notice his little boy smile?

(oh and all that white you see in the background is the snow in our backyard. It'll be a white Christmas in Idaho)

Knotts Berry Farm

Back before we left the state, when Mike was visiting and cousins were in driving distance, Grandma loaded up all the grand-kiddies and took us to Knotts Berry Farm. It was a great day for all. I have the Pics to prove it.

JR enjoyed watching the rides and sipping the very large drink Uncle Tim bought him...
that is all JR liked.

Happy Halloween

Tonight we went to Tim's house. The pics will be posted when our life settles a little bit. We had fun and said good bye. A "see you in a long time" kind of good bye. My mom took the kids back to her house so we can load up the moving truck tomorrow.

I tried to drown my sorrows in candy. It didn't work. My stomach aches.

Good bye San Diego.

Boxes and boxing

Today as we were packing we heard J.R. scream, and then cry. He came running to us and told us that Sid had punched his face. Sid came running behind him and was yelling, "No I didn't! No I didn't! I only punched his nose!"

I can only imagine that Sid's thinking was along the lines of noses are smaller than faces so he should get in less trouble.

find a penny, pick it up

Sid loves finding change all around the house. He has proclaimed himself, “a money finder”. His Dad says some day he will be one of those guys you see on the beach with a metal detector. Right now he is sandwiched between the cushions looking for change in the couch. Our dog Rosco does that, only he is looking for food crumbs.

Sid has a fondness for pennies. He will gladly trade you any of his coins for pennies. I am not ashamed to admit I trade him a penny for a quarter whenever I get a chance. That is called a win-win situation.

Hang in there

So I know I took summer off, and I haven't even caught my blog up to date, BUT I will be taking another short, little, tiny, break. I will be back pretty soon though. All the packing and finding a new place and switching Sid's school info and on and on, can be a little much. So I will catch you guys up as soon as things get a little settled again (and we get internet in our new place).

until then...
Enjoy looking at this lovely picture of my very attractive husband.
As soon as a camera turns on he makes his face to do oddest things.

Moving AGAIN

This will be the thirteenth time that we have moved in our almost ten years of marriage. But this will be my favorite move. We are headed back to Boise, Idaho! My hubby got a good job and we are headed back to the place that we will call home from here on out.

So all you lovely ladies in Utah (you know who you are) will see more of me in the near future.
